We generally find that large companies pay for their suppliers to undergo the training. Companies can get discounts for training a larger number of suppliers.

Supplier wanting to become accredited

As an SME you may want more clarity of the ethical requirements of your business.  There is also the additional advantage that, if you are accredited, some supporting organisations will not require you to undergo additional training on ethical standards.

How it works for companies

01.

Company contacts TEI with the number of suppliers to be trained.

02.

TEI sends an invoice to the company.

03.

Company pays invoice and sends through the names and details of the companies to be trained. The company should also alert the suppliers that they have been selected for the training.

04.

Participants must be part of the senior management team of the supplier. This is to ensure that whoever undergoes the training has sufficient seniority to effect change in the organisation.

05.

TEI communicates login details with the suppliers.

06.

After completion they receive an e-certificate and are listed on this website.

Accreditation is valid for two years and is only valid if the participant is a member of the senior management team of the supplier.

Should suppliers experience technical difficulties, there will be a webinar they can attend that will guide them through challenges.

Face-to-face Training

We can supplement the training by facilitating a face to face training session for suppliers as well.  This definitely adds to the understanding of participants, but also helps the company to understand the realities faced by suppliers.  We have also found this to be particularly useful when suppliers are not sufficiently technologically literate to find their way through an online course.

How it works for suppliers

You will be required to submit your email address.

03.

You will be emailed a login details to the learning management system.

04.

You will complete the course and get accredited.

You will receive a e-certificate and will be listed on this website as an accredited company.
